Cyber training center at University of South Carolina campus to receive $15M

In his 2020 budget proposal, South Carolina's governor allotted $15 million to continue funding for one of the Army National Guard's cyber protection battalions being constructed at the University of South Carolina Aiken. The facility, called the DreamPort Cybersecurity Collaborative, will provide cybersecurity training, spur economic development and encourage collaboration between organizations across multiple sectors, officials said.
