The University at Buffalo's North Campus will recycle heat from a supercomputing center that's being developed with help from the state government.

School officials said the 34,000-student district will develop a "road map" to hardening IT infrastructure and improving employee cybersecurity training.

The new wireless is network is expected to reach the homes of approximately 5,500 students, providing new educational opportunities after school.

The university says studying the subject will help its students get a leg up on an emerging trend in computer science.
