A new partnership will allow scientists from Amazon and CMU to work on emerging technologies like generative artificial intelligence.

The tech giant says a new innovation and learning center will seek to provide "equal access to opportunity regardless of skin color or zip code."

The program will allow professors to collaborate with their peers across departments and develop innovative teaching methods and courses.

The 120,000-square-foot building is the first addition to the university's research park since 2005.
