5. Building student assistants

Strayer University in Washington D.C. used a “virtual assistant” to help with tasks like IT support and signing up for classes. The private, for-profit school launched “Irving” in 2017. The bot can also calculate when a student is expected to graduate and help connect students with tutors, according to Strayer’s website.
