The University of Southern California on Monday opened applications for the next cohort of its Educational Technology Accelerator Program.

The program, which is entering its eighth cohort, seeks to accelerate the growth of promising edtech startups, “by providing a combination of operational and technical assistance, business strategy, product roadmap development/refinement and access to participants in the education ecosystem,” according to a press release.

“It’s an exciting time to be developing an edtech solution given the rapid advances in technologies and the changing landscape of education,” Mark DeGennaro, the program’s managing director said in a press release. “We are excited to work with the next cohort of founders as they build impactful solutions.”

The accelerator is conducted in remotely and doesn’t charge tuition, both efforts to cast a wide net for participants, according to the school.
