Colgate University, a private institution in New York, announced on Tuesday that it’s offering students, faculty and staff access to a new online portal designed to simplify access to a range of digital services.

According to a press release from Pathify, the software company that helped the university develop the new portal, the Colgate Portal is “a centralized digital experience unifying access to campus systems and information.”

“Built on Pathify’s Engagement Hub platform, Colgate Portal replaces the university’s outdated desktop portal and standalone mobile app with a seamless, responsive experience consolidating critical tools and surfacing relevant content across devices and roles,” the announcement reads.

The portal purportedly solves common problems faced by universities in presenting information and tying together disparate IT systems. Niranjan Davray, the university’s chief information officer, said the project represents a “critical leap in building a more collaborative, engaged campus community.”

We’re proud to support their vision for digital consolidation and transformation.”
