Matthew Hall

Higher Education IT Executive of the Year

Matthew Hall is the University of Central Florida’s Vice President for information technology and chief information officer. He has been in the role since early 2021. Previously, Hall was the Senior Associate Vice Chancellor for Information Technology and Cyber Risk Responsible Executive at the University of California Santa Barbara. Before that, Hall held positions at Koch Industries International, Microsoft, Bank of America, and Vanderbilt University. He also held sworn law enforcement positions at both the Williamson County, Tennessee, Sheriff’s Office and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.
