The edtech company Ellucian announced Monday that it will gather student feedback on its tools through a new student ambassador program called EnlightenED.

The company said student ambassadors will be selectively accepted to join the EnlightenED platform, where they can offer feedback on new features and interfaces in the company’s student information system, Banner.

“Students who participate in this program will be able to influence higher education technology in a way that represents the student voice like never before,” Ellucian CEO Laure Ipsen said in a press release. “I look forward to their fresh perspectives and welcome students to join us as we work to improve the future of higher education.”

Ellucian launched another platform, called EllumiNation, in early 2022 to connect IT staff using Ellucian products and services and share best practices.
